And now recently, a woman was returning home from a gym on January 4, a stranger near Banaswadi police station allegedly attacked the woman.

The victim has filed a complaint with police based on which the investigation has been initiated. This incident is fourth in a series of molestation cases which have marred the image of one the most cosmopolitan cities of India.
Earlier, on the New Year eve, while thousands of people were gathered to celebrate the occasion, a drunk mob have molested women was reported in and around the junction of Brigade Road and M G Road. Reports said that the men not only molested but passed lewd remarks and hurled at them. This ‘shameful’ incident took place even as 1,500 police personnel were deployed to control the crowd.
A 23-year-old woman on Friday was allegedly molested and attacked by a man in Bengaluru’s KG Hill area while she was on her way to the office. The victim is reported to have bitten in the tongue. A nearby CCTV camera also captured the incident. Several people also held protests in Bengaluru questioning the safety and security of women in the city.
