Big Breaking! Donald Trump just ordered an Investigation into Stephen Colbert.

The Republican war on free speech is now policing late-night talk show jokes about the President. Trump-appointed Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai has announced that the agency will be investigating whether a joke made by Stephen Colbert on the Late Show will be considered “obscene” and has sworn to take “appropriate action” after being flooded with complaints from Trump fans about Colbert’s remarks.

In a fit of anger after Trump walked out of an interview with fellow CBS host John Dickerson, Colbert savaged Trump over his cowardice:

“Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine. You have more people marching against you than cancer. You talk like a sign language gorilla who got hit in the head. In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s c*ck holster.”

While the remark may not have been in the best of tastes, as Colbert himself admitted the next day, it is the height of hypocrisy for a federal agency to police the words leveled against President Trump, who campaigned on how “political correctness” was ruining our country.

Coming so soon after President Trump’s Chief of Staff casually suggested amending the libel laws to punish journalists who criticize the President, it couldn’t be more clear that the so-called “war against political correctness” is nothing but a cover for their heinous efforts to police free speech and protect tyrant Trump’s hypersensitive ego.
