Did Arvind Kejriwal Get Scared of Contesting Election in Punjab Assembly Polls?

Before the Punjab Assembly Election could begin, Arvind Kejriwal and Amarinder Singh had a war of words on twitter. It seems that this Punjab Elections would be the most entertaining one to see.

Amrinder Sigh, Punjab Congress Chief, has challenged the AAP Chief and CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal to contest against him in the upcoming Punjab Assembly Election.

The war of words began on twitter when Kejriwal tweeted the Congress strongman Amarinder Singh asking if he was contesting against the CM of Punjab Prakash Singh Badal, deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal and Badal’s brother-in-law Bikram Majithia or from a “safe seat.”

In a befitting reply, the face of Congress campaign in the state and former Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh threw a challenge on Wednesday saying that Badal’s chapter in Punjab is over and Kejriwal should come and fight the Punjab elections and he would also fight against him.

“Badals’ story is over. You tell me where you’re contesting from and I will come fight you there!(sic),” tweeted Singh.

Kejriwal didn’t back off, he replied “So, u r fighting me, not Badal/drugs. Badals also say they will fight against me. U n Badal wish to fight against me not against each other.”

The PCC chief responded, “I’ve defeated Jaitley-Majithia combine when you didn’t know a thing about Punjab. But tell us, Why are you so scared o fighting me?

Kejriwal responded saying, ” I m not fighting punjab elex. So, ur challenge hollow. We r fighting Badals/Majithia, who sunk Punjab in drugs. N u r fighting us, not them?”

Singh on a contrary responded, “Always knew your screeching in Punjab was pure drama! Now that you’ve conceded, apologise for your months of lies & false personal commitments.”

Earlier in the day, Amarinder had accused AAP of “colluding” with Badals after the Kejriwal fielded the former journalist Jarnail Singh to fight against Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in Lambing constituency. He said Jarnail Sigh was a weak candidate.

Moreover, Kejriwal didn’t respond to his tweet. Is Kejriwal really scared to contest election against Amarinder Singh? Or is it just a fake reason to avert the challenge?
